Fallen in Middle... Sea?

Okay, I just had a dream (that someone would please come and steal and write). Case in point 1. Persona falls into Middle Earth is one of my favorite tropes when people get all technical and discuss differences and such. 2. I just saw the Rings of Power. So, here we go with a bad written prompts of mine (fell free to use it) It's female coded because it's actually all a dream I had.

Reader may or may not be more or less a Tolkien fan, but between one thing and another she knows more or less what Sillmarion, the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings are about (a lot of Wikipedia may or may not have helped because who doesn't end reading whole fandom wikis instead of being productive?).

But what does Reader know about the TV series "The Rings of Power"? Which is a series PENDING TO BE RELEASED in a few days. Galadriel comes out, Sauron comes out and a lot of OCs come out. Is written in the 2nd Age, about which hardly a thing is known. And people is already complaining because that and people of color or something like that. Reader gives two shits about it.

Soooooo The curtain opens.

Reader wakes up (not to mention almost drowns) in the open sea, nothing in sight. She is rescued by a bunch of people and all wears medieval clothes and speaks an unknown language. And they itch her clothes. What's so strange about her clothes!!? (they should be grateful that you're wearing long pants!!)

In any case, after a time at sea where only a couple of people try to communicate with her (Not to be ill-considered, but Reader believes that she already knows the word prostitute, whore or equivalent in the language of these people although what she has been taught does not include that word) something hits the ship and smashes it to pieces. Which leads them to wander aimlessly for two days or so. They will all be wet and hungry but the atmosphere is all hot and smoky!

In the wreckage of the ship you rescue someone who introduces herself as Galadriel. Cue your world going crazy because WAIT, this IS Middle Earth? (I mean, you had had clues because of how people blasphemes and blesses, but denial is a powerful weapon) What is Galadriel doing in the middle of the sea, with such a hidden bad character btw? (THAT IS NOT IN ANY BOOK!!!) And well, from here the story begins. Only you, a dude called Halbrand (appropriately one of the few interested parties who was nice to you) and Galadriel survive the next attack at sea. You are rescued by hotty Elendil, etc.

Thus Reader becomes friends with these two sharing the "culture" of their "country" (world) and their eclectic knowledge. It may or may not be that Reader supports that Halbrand wants to spend the hell out of his "inheritance" (because long live democracy and things should be voluntary for people prepared for it and feeling it, although Reader admits that Halbrand is super smart -suspiciously even for a HUMAN commoner).

Also both (Halbrand and you) of you are considering making a place for yourself in Numenor (well, more him than you, Reader is thinking that if Galadriel is not an option, she doesn't know who to ask about her situation, since you never know where Gandalf is. Some other Istar, maybe?) but in the meantime you learn from their healers and try to adapt to the somewhat misogynistic culture (Why is everyone surprised that she is NOT married with children back her home, goddammit!) and wears long dresses everywhere -also PADS send help!!!- and you may be developing a crush (reciprocate, is he courting you?? Wow, how strange this world is!!) on Halbrand but rather die than hook up with a future king (first is to try to return home, if that is not possible, try to live a peaceful -no obligations- life, perhaps among the hobbits)

[Reader is a fan, but not a hardcore fan, she's not aware of certain things, in fact, she's still wondering when Gandalf and Mordor is going to appear, like, isn't it supposed to be IN the Southlands? Shouldn't she stop Halbrand or more like Galadriel to push Halbrand from going?)]

In my dream Reader calls herself a healer because is the closest thing in Middle-earth to her job (you can think whatever you want) and because of her knowledge she accompanies and helps Halbrand and Galadriel to the Southern Lands and later to the Elf Kingdom (making the trip not have to be so drastic and hasty).

Galadriel also mentions that "the three of us have met for some purpose" Because anyone can see that Reader is almost as out of place in Middle Earth as "The Istar" was upon his arrival (It doesn't help that Reader doesn't take off her sneakers/sport shoes/boots even by begging... I suspect she sudenly cares lot about her bra now). Some people call her behind her back "The Naive Wise One" because she knows and teach so much but at the same time she doesn't know.

Hi, I don't really know if it's appropriate to ask that type of question and feel free to not answer if you don't want to. How do you know if you're are aromantic? because I'm 15 and I never dated nor kissed anyone, i think about thing like that since a while and I know I'm asexual but, the romantic attraction? I used to identify as biromantic because I feel the same level of attraction for boys and for girls but what about that level is 0? I don't really have friend too so idk what is friendship and what is romantic relationship. If I think about kissing or cuddling someone it feels nice but if I really think about like I put myself in the situation it feel horrible, like it feels embarrassing and annoying.

I realized I was aromantic while in a romantic relationship, so. uh.

I will say, kissing is not inherently romantic. It's cool if you view it as romantic (/genuine) but, also, it's just an action that doesn't inherently have ties to any particular attraction.

I will also say that feeling you're bi because you experience the same level of attraction to everyone (that being 0) is a common aspec experience, though experiencing same level of attraction doesn't inherently mean you're aspec, though also if it's 0, I would say maybe experiment with arospec labels?

I would say based on thinking about yourself in romantic-coded contexts in theory makes you happy but thinking about doing them in real life contexts makes you uncomfortable, maybe look into aegoromantic?

Yuvon is, for some reason, taking sheets of paper from the infinite pile and systematically tearing them into small, even shreds. She would not look at me when I attempted to hand her the letter to answer, and told me to answer first. I am not entirely sure what that is about. However, glancing at the rest of the letter, it seems the alternate Jessica said something troubling? Something involving my counterpart in her universe?

No. No luck yet deciphering those papers. It is incredibly vexing. Whoever created this code clearly did not intend it to be read by those without the key.

That is good to know, about the method of sending. Theoretically, your version of Jake may be able to send letters independently, in that case. That would be intriguing to test at some point, though obviously other issues take priority.

I am not sure Yuvon meant literal rebirth. Symbolism is not my strong suit, but this place is all but made of symbols. It is possible she is planning an equally symbolic action to try to affect this place.

I must admit that while Yuvon was distracted writing her portion of the letter, I read the most recent letter from Jessica. I always had an idea of what might happen were our pursuers to catch up, but having it actually happen to one of our counterparts is a completely different matter. I wonder if this is how Yuvon felt when she read that Lis and Matt had been killed. I hope not.

I do not think the specifics of my diagnosis are entirely necessary to the case, but in the event that it becomes necessary, I will say this much: I cannot stand tags on my clothes. It feels like sandpaper. Similarly, I am very particular about what type of cloth my clothes are made of.

Also, the diagnosis is not treatable with medicine, nor would I care to treat it were I given the chance. It is a part of who I am and has been since birth.

Moving on. Yes, especially now that what is at stake has been made clear, and now that our Detectives are worrying, it is more important than ever to stay several steps before our pursuers at all times. I, naturally, have a significant advantage on that front, and you have a head start. I am not overly concerned about our odds.

I am sure you will leave them in the dust. You are a counterpart to myself, after all ;)

On a final note, Yuvon got the idea to ask Lis to do some word association. The word was "yellow." I am sure you can guess why. Look for yourself; I believe you will find this of interest.

The first one talks about The French Revolution, and how french people had to go through so many hard times like wars and poverty to become the Modern Nation that is now, so... Improvement, right? This episofe talked about how Dean and Sam had upgraded, even is there's a resistance from Dean to that. He's not more the young hunter that come to find his little brother.

Theories about Children Development??? Okay is Dean a child? Is he behaving like one? Not telling his brother Cas is one because he pushed him away? Then asking him if Cas answered Sam's calls?? Like? Right. Is better for him deny all the situation with CAS and just wait Sam makes the call trying to bring him back??? Like? Life doesn't work like that mister, you need to grow up, to upgrade, to heal... Yeah... Let's compare some theories about Dean's development...

Bugs foreshadow

Okay... Remember when Jack was in that bathroom in 14x06 talking with Dean and the walls had dragon flies??? Well watch now what Dean had begun him, on the walls...

We were talking about how Yockey uses bugs in his narrative with @emblue-sparks and @mrsaquaman187 , and look what we have here... Butterflies, they had to go though a metamorphosis, they're first a caterpillar and then a chrysalis, that's a transformation, and bc dragon flies mean new life, we saw Jack died and resurrected in episode 14x08, maybe we will see a truly metamorphosis on Dean.

Burning inside

At the beginning of the show we had Dean bringing some hot sauced snack... Dam said YOU ARE NOT GONNA LIKE IT, and Dean replied YES! And then we had him burning inside? So so symbolic, because that's how Dean is feeling now, all those feelings he's pushing down, are gonna to burn him inside... The bag says thank you....

As my friend Agus Pointer it says thank you in red... And then Sam when he saw Dean was burning... He offered him water... And did you see the color of that bottle??

So here is the little spec... Sam is gonna be pissed when Dean tells him about how he let Cas go, and then he's gonna find Castiel and talk with him.

Maybe an important talk between brothers in which Sam will make Dean to figure out what he really wants... Not the hot sauced snack... (That btw he ended throwing...) But the fresh water to calm his burning heart. Damn... Is poetic...

Miscellaneous:

I'm not allowed to put more pics but, I already talked in my other metas ABOUT the bloody tears, and the wall with the bear and the moose representing the brothers. I just wanted to add Lilith orange ascot, as I said to my friend @poorreputation , is the mix between red (Toxic! Dean) and yellow, Sammy's color, and is the negative sign for what a healthy brother's relationship should be. She represents all the negative, the toxic codependency mostly, and that's why she's wearing that color.

To Conclude:

There was just a few Destiel inches in narrative meta, the episode was mostly centered on Dean and Sam and mostly in how Dean should aknowledged he had improved or change or upgrade. He needs to assimilate this idea to reach the true metamorphosis.

Jungkooks thoughts over that one

Like Kanmom said. Sometimes awkwardness and shyness is just simply exactly that. Jungkook was young, didn't speak the language, was thrown into an unfamiliar situation and told to flirt with these women. They are attractive, confident and strangers. (Aesthetic attraction is a thing btw, doesn't mean romantic or sexual attraction). He was told to act like he wanted these girls and he was shy and embarrassed because he didn't know how to do that and felt super awkward doing so.

And I mean, in comparison... lol some of which comes down to confidence and ability to act too when faced in situations that are out of your comfort zone. (JK looking awkward around a woman is enough to make you question the possibility of him being queer but Jimin confidently flirting with a woman during that same shooting doesn't make you question the same things? Maybe you should sit with that one for a little bit because it's bordering on problematic thought processes there.)

For anyone who hasn't seen the final product of all this awkward (and some not so awkward flirting) during filming, the Warren G Boy in Luv MV is here lmao. Some of the members were significantly more excited to flirt with girls for the MV then others, but ALL OF THEM expressed how awkward, weird and nervous it made them feel too.

And to add even more onto that. My sister is Aro/ace. She did a year of theater as an elective in school and says it's the worst thing she has ever done. Lol she has crippling shyness around people she does not know well. Acting on stage, even with those people who were her friends? Made her so embarrassed and awkward. She actually looked EXACTLY like JK did in those clips. A fish out of water. She promptly ONLY did backstage work for the second half of her year. Lol and she isnt romantically or sexually attracted to ANYONE.

As well as for your third gif. The Solbin one. I actually had an ask about JK being attracted to her too! I have two posts up about JK being attracted (or not) to women. One of them includes Solbin, the same example from the another interview. I'll link them here for you.

None of this is to say that he can't ALSO like women. Just that, nothing has really indicted that he does and all your examples are falling flat. But again, he MIGHT. We don't know! But he has also given multiple examples of potentially being attracted to men. As well as multiple examples of being queer coded.

I find it surprising how you don't think jk is at least bi. He was so shy around women in his early years, which is a big sign of heterosexuality. His shyness obviously came from a place of attraction. Once again, I think jikook has a good chance of being real, but what makes me doubt it is jk's lack of attraction to men.

So anon, I will start from the very end here.

I never deemed to be the expert or the person with personal knowledge as to JK's sexuality. Do I believe he's queer? I sure do. I have no idea if he's gay, bi, pan, etc. I do believe he's attracted to a man and in a long term romantic, including sexual relationship with a man. That would kind of eliminate him being heterosexual.

Also, that shy comment being a sign of heterosexuality is just so wrong anon. I was shy as a young teenager period. Boys, girls, men and women. Does that mean I was ever in my life sexually attracted to women. Nope. Never. Not in my life.

Being shy is being shy. And of course he'll seem shyer around: a. strangers; b. older confident women; c. people from a different culture, society, speaking a different language he doesn��t understand, it could be pretty intimidating for him (again, 16 yo JK from SK, used to different culture and different behavioural norms).

These examples you sent me, and I do thank you for that, at least you are trying to show what you mean, well a couple are the same moment from AHL. JK being a 16 yo boy, shy and flustered around these very confident older (than him) women, may I remind you, strangers to him, and these women are behaving so differently than what he is accustomed to with the women around him (again, cultural differences can be overwhelming especially to a younger shy boy). Second link - once again an example of JK daring to look at a woman, must mean he's attracted to her. Not to mention, once again, no context. Show me the whole full clip. Show me what happened before and after, then I'll tell you if I think this might show signs of attraction.  Could JK be attracted to her?  He could.  Can I tell if he is from this clip?  Well obviously it was edited to make me think he is, but I’m not going to fall for that trap and neither should you anon.  Watch the whole clip, context and all before making up your mind about it.

Does everything I’ve said so far mean he was never attracted to a woman? Nope. 

Have I ever seen him show attraction to a woman? Sorry, but nope.

As for being attracted to men, well how do I stress this again anon: last time I checked, JM was a man.
